Always remember that a heart attack doesn’t occur all of a sudden .Some warning signs may be there. Heart attacks build up most often as a result of the blockage of a coronary artery, the functions of which is to supply oxygen to some part of the heart muscle. The blockage actually occurs due to blood clotting and thickening of the arterial wall. The worst thing happens when the large branch had been blocked and it results to the death of larger portion of myocardium or heart muscle and in this case the probability of severe heart attack also increases. The first indication of heart attack is chest pain or angina pectoris.

The new born baby begins its life with crying .Baby hardly cries inside the mother’s womb as it is a very risky and it can be choked with intra-uterine fluid. But yes whenever the new born child cries, every body from mother to the medical staffs is in joy. Actually the first cry helps in the breathing of the child. The process of crying during birth is nothing but the reflex action. The air been drawn forcibly over vocal cords making them to vibrate and produce the sound. When the foetus is in the uterus it gets nutrition and oxygen from the mother’s body. The moment the umbilical cord is been cut, the source oxygen decreases and the baby may suffer from brain damage. So the first cry is of immense importance.

CHARACTERISTICS AND CLASSIFICATIONS OF FOOD ALLERGIES


Allergies appear to be closely related to one’s physical and emotional status , reactions to a substance may occur in stress situation some times .Some persons are only mildly sensitive and can eat particular food for several days while others have violent reactions within few hours. Heredity may also play a role in allergy but one does not inherit sensitivity to a specific substance nor to an identical manifestation of the allergy.

Skin tests

These have been much used in the past .A minute quantity of an extract of the suspected food is injected into the skin or rubbed into a scratch. If a weal develops and there is a surrounding red rash this is sometimes taken as indications of sensitivity to the respective food. The presence of pseudopodia extending out from the weal may be taken as further diagnostic evidence.

Clinical manifestation of food allergy

Food allergy may produce any of the various manifestations of sensitivity. Sensitivity to food may manifest itself in the respiratory system as coryza, conjunctivitis, manifestation bronchial asthma.

In alimentary system as an manifestation of gastro –enteritis and in the autoreous sytem as dermatitis, uriticaria in nervous system. In the nervous system it appears as headache. In genitor urinary system as hermaturia and in articular system as arthoraligia..

CLASSIFICATION OF FOOD ALLERGY

It may be divided in to two types – skin sensitive or weal and skin negative or non weal type. Both could be divided into hereditary and non –hereditary portal of entry. The hereditary portal of entry is by alimentary mucosa and the non-hereditary portal of entry is by parental route. Though in skin negative reactions, sometimes it may be in oral, buccal or skin.

WHAT IS ALLEGY AND FOOD ALLERGY?


Allergy usually characterizes the unusual reaction in a person to the foodstuff he consume, the air he respire or the material he touches. Any kind of thing which creates sensitivity is known as an allergen.

Food allergy might be defined as a sensitivity happening in particular parts of the body towards one or more specific foods or any of their constituent .Usually the allergen is of protein nature but it may be of carbohydrates, lipids and various chemicals may also be sensitizing agent at times.
